Senator Susan Collins took to the Senate floor on Friday to announce her position on Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
Protesters immediately interrupted her speech within seconds of her speech.
Senator Collins the proceeded and gave a lengthy dissertation on how she came to her decision to support or not support Judge Kavanaugh.
Collins spoke about several of Judge Kavanaugh’s decisions.
Collins said his opponents have missed the mark on Judge Kavanaugh.
The Maine senator then proceeded to praise Judge Kavanaugh on his previous decisions.
Collins has gone on for 30 45 minutes now. She is certainly making the most of her moment.
If she opposes Brett Kavanaugh now she is truly crazy.
Senator Collins then spoke out about the the tradition of due process and the importance of the presumption of innocence.
Collins — these charges cannot prevent Judge Kavnaugh from serving on the Supreme Court.
