BREAKING: Democrats Suggest Past FBI Background Checks on Kavanaugh Include Evidence of Inappropriate Behavior – GOP Responds

BREAKING NEWS.

Senate Democrats have just launched a new attack on Brett Kavanaugh.

On Wednesday afternoon, Senate Democrats suggested past FBI background checks on Brett Kavanaugh include evidence of inappropriate behavior.

The new drama started because the Senate Judiciary Committee sent out a pair of tweets Tuesday defending Kavanaugh.

PART ONE: As part of Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to #SCOTUS, the FBI conducted its SIXTH full-field background investigation of Judge Kavanaugh since 1993. As part of these 6 prior FBI investigations, the FBI interviewed nearly 150 different people who know Judge Kavanaugh personally. 1/2

PART TWO: Nowhere in any of these six FBI reports, which the committee has reviewed on a bipartisan basis, was there ever a whiff of ANY issue – at all – related in any way to inappropriate sexual behavior or alcohol abuse. 2/2

On Wednesday Democrat Senator Dick Durbin demanded the Senate Judiciary Committee correct its tweet and attached a letter signed by 8 out of 10 Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee, including Dianne Feinstein.

DICK DURBIN: This tweet is not accurate. Committee Republicans must correct it.

The Senate Judiciary Committee immediately hit back Wednesday evening.

Senate Judiciary Committee: Nothing in the tweet is inaccurate or misleading. The committee stands by its statement, which is completely truthful. More baseless innuendo and more false smears from Senate Democrats.
