After Synagogue Massacre, Democrats Must Denounce Anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan and Apologize for Associating With Him and Nation of Islam

For too long the Democratic Party has been given a pass for associating with notorious Jew hater Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam. As part of the renewed battle against anti-Semitism in the wake of the Pittsburgh Synagogue massacre it is time that Democrats permanently denounce Farrakhan, apologize for associating with him and the Nation of Islam and promise to never again have anything to do with Farrakhan or the Nation of Islam.

Photographs and video over the decades show Democrat presidents, presidential candidates and other elected Democrats standing side by side with Farrakhan. As recently as two months ago Farrakhan shared the stage at the funeral for Aretha Franklin with former President Bill Clinton and two former Democratic Party presidential candidates Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Jackson and Sharpton both have histories of anti-Semitism.

Earlier this year a photo from 2005 surfaced of then Senator Barack Obama  standing and smiling with Farrakhan at a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus. The photo was kept secret to protect Obama’s political future.

Kwesi Mfume, Rev. Ben Chavis, Rep. Maxine Waters, Rev. Jesse Jackson and ABC News anchor Carol Simpson served as the moderator. The event was held in Washington,DC on September 16, 1993.”

On October 16, 2018, Farrakhan posted to Twitter an excerpt of a speech that he captioned, “I’m not an anti-Semite. I’m anti-Termite.”

The Democrats should denounce the anti-Semitic Farrakhan and Nation of Islam, apologize and never associate with them again. Will they?
