Witness Mark Judge Defends Kavanaugh in Letter to Grassley – Says He Does Not Wish to Speak Publicly Regarding Incident

Witness Mark Judge defended Brett Kavanaugh again Tuesday in a letter through his lawyer to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley.

Mark Judge said in a letter sent by his legal counsel to Grassley, “I have no memory of this alleged incident..Kavanaugh and I were friends in high school but I do not recall the party described in..Ford’s letter. More to the point, I never saw Brett act in the manner..Ford describes”

Mr. Judge concluded his letter by saying, “I have no more information to offer the committee and I do not wish to speak publicly regarding the incidents described in Dr. Ford’s letter.”

Mr. Judge previously defended Brett Kavanaugh in a statement to the Weekly Standard saying Christine Ford’s sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh are “absolutely nuts.”

Senator Grassley says his staff is conducting interviews ahead of Monday’s hearing. Interviewed Kavanaugh. Also called and emailed Christine Ford’s lawyer to arrange a similar interview, but no response, reported FOX News’ Chad Pergram.

Chuck Grassley also said on the Hugh Hewitt Show Tuesday morning that Christine Ford has not confirmed her appearance at next Monday’s hearing and that she has ignored repeated efforts by his staff to make contact with her “in the last 36 hours.”

The Senate Judiciary Chairman even threatened to cancel Monday’s hearing.

It is obvious this 11th hour “me too” ambush of Judge Kavanaugh is a dirty trick by the Dems to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
