President Trump Posts Late Night Statement of Defiance of the Swamp: ‘Don’t Worry, We Will Win!’

President Trump fired off a defiant statement of resolve and defiance via Twitter late Wednesday night, telling supporters (and everyone else): “I’m draining the Swamp, and the Swamp is trying to fight back. Don’t worry, we will win!”

Trump’s tweet comes after hours of Swamp delirium at the New York Times’ publication of an anonymous op-ed supposedly written by a senior Trump administration official that describes the author and other unnamed members of the administration as conspiring against Trump for the claimed good of the country.

Trump labeled the op-ed treason and demanded the Times reveal the name of the author.

Trump also addressed the op-ed in remarks to the White House press corps in front of a group of sheriffs gathered at the White House for a meeting with him.

Pres. Trump responds to applause by sheriffs with show of solidarity.
