Over $3 Billion Wiped From Market Value After Nike Names Colin Kaepernick Face of 30th Anniversary

Nike went full ‘social justice warrior’ this week when they signed cop-hating, America-hating Kaepernick to be the face of its newest campaign.

On Monday, Nike revealed they selected former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick to be the face of its 30th anniversary of its ‘Just Do It’ campaign.

Nike didn’t learn its lesson after seeing NFL ratings plummet because of Kaepernick’s National Anthem boycott. Stadiums often have rows and rows of empty seats because Americans are fed up with the politicization of football.

And it has cost them bigly…

Zero Hedge reported, Nike shares are down over 3% in the pre-market. That is a loss of over $4 billion in market capitalization since the market close on Friday…

Graph provided by Zero Hedge:

Americans immediately launched a boycott against Nike after finding out Kaepernick was chosen to be the face of its campaign.

People posted videos of their Nikes burning in protest.

On Tuesday a Facebook page “Just Burn It’ was launched to torch Nike Products.

Excellent strategy, Nike–anger millions of Americans who support the President and standing for the American flag.

What could possibly go wrong?
