First Lady Melania Trump Blasts Author of Anonymous NYT Op-Ed ‘You Are Sabotaging This Country With Your Cowardly Actions’

First Lady Melania Trump had some words for the ‘senior Trump administration official’ who penned an anonymous op-ed in the New York Times claiming to be a saboteur.

‘You are sabotaging this country with your cowardly actions,’ Melania Trump said in a statement.

Full statement from First Lady Melania Trump:

“Freedom of speech is an important pillar of our nation’s founding principles and a free press is important to our democracy. The press should be fair, unbiased and responsible.

Unidentified sources have become the majority of the voices people hear about in today’s news. People with no names are writing our nation’s history. Words are important, and accusations can lead to severe consequences. If a person is bold enough to accuse people of negative actions, they have a responsibility to publicly stand by their words and people have the right to be able to defend themselves.

To the writer of the oped – you are not protecting this country, you are sabotaging it with your cowardly actions.”

On Wednesday, The New York Times published an op-ed from an anonymous senior Trump administration official bragging about being a saboteur inside the White House.

The author claimed people within the Trump administration are ‘working diligently from within to frustrate parts of Trump’s agenda.’

The anon official trashed President Trump’s leadership style, suggested he was mentally unstable and praised John McCain.

President Trump immediately came out swinging and slammed the piece as a “gutless editorial.”

The President’s fury grew Wednesday evening and he fired off another scathing tweet.

This time, President Trump DEMANDED The New York Times turn over their anonymous source for “national security purposes.”

The hunt is on for this anonymous saboteur.
