Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer told reporters on Tuesday that Judge Brett Kavanaugh does not have the presumption of innocence.
Reporter: Do you agree then that he (Judge Kavanaugh) has the ‘presumption of innocence?’
Minority Leader Chuck Schumer: I agree that this is not, that that’s a criminal trial. What I believe is we ought to get the bottom and find the facts in the way that the FBI has always done. There is no presumption of innocence or guilt when you have a nominee before you.
