Socialist (Communist) Ocasio-Cortez Defends BARRING PRESS From Public Speaking Event

Communist Socialist rising Dem star, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez banned the press from a public town hall event–then defended her decision to do so.

This did not sit well with reporters and Ocasio-Cortez received a huge backlash.

Ocasio-Cortez refused to let any reporters into her public speaking event and said the town hall was “designed for residents to feel safe discussing issues in a threatening political time.”

Ocasio-Cortez then called the town hall a “non-story”–Not a good look said many reporters.

Even ultra liberal reporters slammed Ocasio-Cortez.

“And how does the presence of reporters make people feel unsafe?” asked a reporter for The Guardian.

Seung Min Kim, a White House reporter for WaPo harshly criticized the Socialist superstar for barring the press.

Another reporter told Ocasio-Cortez to stop pretending the event was public if it was closed to the press.

Ultra liberal reporter for HuffPost, Yashar Ali accused Ocasio-Cortez of being condescending.

Honestly, what do these reporters expect from Ocasio-Cortez? She’s a hardcore leftist, a Communist–they thrive on secrecy and dishonesty.

Just last month, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez channeled her inner Fidel Castro on Twitter with a statement announcing a “New Rule” that bars supporters of the Trump tax cuts from speaking out about America’s healthcare system.

Perhaps the media should start paying more attention to what Ocasio-Cortez is doing and saying rather than fawning over the color of her lipstick.
