President Trump: “My Deepest Sympathies” on Passing of Senator John McCain – Flags Lowered to Half-Staff

Senator John McCain passed away on Saturday after a year-long battle with brain cancer.

He was 81.

President Trump issued a statement on news of John McCain’s passing.

Senator McCain refused to endorse President Trump in the 2016 election.

The White House lowered the flag to half-staff following the news of John McCain’s death.
