A giant blimp of London Mayor Sadiq Khan in a tiny yellow bikini has been granted permission to fly over the city on September 1.
The hilarious inflatable is in response to the “Trump baby” balloon that flew over a small protest during the US president’s visit last month.
The design is a play on an advertisement that Khan infamously banned in 2016 for promoting “unhealthy or unrealistic body images.” The ad had featured a model in a yellow bikini and asked “are you beach body ready?”
Over 3,400 people contributed to funding the balloon, which raised $75,000 through a crowdfunding campaign.
The 29 foot balloon will be flying over Parliament.
“Under Sadiq Khan, we have seen crime skyrocket to unprecedented levels. People in London don’t feel safe and they aren’t safe, 81 murders this year alone! Khan Out,” the funding campaign read.
