McCain was a frequent critic of Republican leadership. He was the Democrats’ favorite senator.
McCain lost to Obama and hated Trump. That’s all that mattered to Democrats.
And after his death he blocked President Trump and his former running mate Sarah Palin from his funeral.
How awful.
Minority leader Senator Chuck Schumer proposed renaming the Russell Senate Office Building after the late John McCain this week.
But while John McCain was a favorite with the ruling class, the working class detested him.
John McCain was the third most unpopular US Senator in a 2018 poll.
And for the record, this poll wasn’t a fluke — John McCain was the third most unpopular senator in 2014 too.
