Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) joined FOX and Friends this morning to discuss the upcoming midterm elections. Ryan said he was confident about the November elections because the GOP Congress ran on his “Better Way” plan and they stuck to it.
Ryan did not mention President Trump or his historic “Make America Great Again” platform.
Speaker Paul Ryan: You know what I’m going to do. I’m going to tell the story on what we’ve done. Look, two years ago, we, House Republicans, ran on a platform called “The Better Way” and then along with the newly elected President Trump, guess what we did? We did what we said we were going to do. We kept our promises and we enacted a very promising agenda that is now occurring. What’s the result? We are stronger at home and abroad, we are rebuilding our military, we’re confronting the opioid’s crisis we’re ending human trafficking. We are fixing things so that we improve people’s lives.
Speaker Ryan forgot to mention President Trump’s “Make America Great Again” platform that turned his home state Wisconsin from blue to red for the first time in over 30 years.
