DNC Deputy Chair Keith Ellison: National Borders Create ‘An Injustice’ (VIDEO)

Democratic National Committee Deputy Chair Keith Ellison claimed during a recent interview that national borders creates an “injustice” for illegal aliens trying to cross them.

The shocking comments came during an interview with Rabbi Michael Lerner.

“Look, the so-called, or what we used to call ‘the First World,’ the developed part of the world, relies on for it’s prosperity — let’s be honest, on low wages, low levels of civil and human rights enforcement, low levels of environmental protection — in what we used to call ‘the Third World,’” Ellison began.

“So our prosperity is based on the want that is experienced in other parts of the world and it’s important to understand that we should give something back,” Ellison continued. “If there’s prosperity all over the globe then why would anyone want to leave a place where they speak the language, they have their family, they know the culture uhh — just to go to another place to be discriminated against and mistreated?”

Ellison went on to claim that people are leaving their homes in Mexico because since NAFTA Mexican wages have dropped between nine and thirteen percent.

“Some people have said to me, ‘oh, Keith, you know — that’s too bad for them’ and my answer is ‘no. It’s too bad for us’ because that means those people are going to be a low-wage sector not only in Mexico, but here in the United States. An undocumented worker is an exploited worker.”

“The 12 million undocumented people in the United States are here because somebody wants them to be. They want them to do the work, but they don’t want them to get any rights. They don’t want to pay them fairly, they don’t want them to be able to bargain collectively, they don’t want them to be able to get occupational safety and standards — and that is what’s really going on,” Ellison said.

“These trade agreements allow capital to travel over borders and all capital is, is people who happen to own something that we call a corporation,” Ellison said.

He explained that corporations can go back and forth across the border, but people who do labor cannot.

“Labor, regular people, cannot go back and forth across the border seeking out the highest wages. So, what it creates is an imbalance. It creates injustice,” Ellison said.

Ellison went on to claim that it is the responsibility of the United States to rebuild other parts of the world because of “interconnectedness globally.”

The open borders advocate has previously endorsed the violent militant leftists known as Antifa, claiming that the Anti-Fascist Handbook could “strike fear” into the heart of President Donald Trump.

The book Ellison happily took a selfie posing with, Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook by Mark Bray, seeks to defend and normalize the actions of Antifa — a loose-knit group that has been classified as domestic terrorists by the New Jersey Department of Homeland Security.

Members of Antifa believe that violence is justified when used against political foes or to send a message during protests. Many claim that violence against “fascists,” or anyone to the right of Karl Marx, is justified as self-defense from an imagined threat.

From rioting and causing over $500,000 in property damage to the area surrounding University of California at Berkeley to prevent Milo Yiannopoulos from speaking to bashing a stranger over the head with a bike lock for the crime of supporting our president — members of Antifa have become increasingly willing to use violence for political aims, primarily the pursuit of open borders, since the election.

It seems that Ellison is not only endorsing their political stances, he is full on embracing them.
