Thai Cave Rescue Begins — 4 Boys from Soccer Team Brought to Safety So Far!
Four of the twelve boys were rescued already.
Reuters this morning announced that six boys had been rescued but Thai officials said four were rescued in their press conference.
“I have received information that six have exited the cave”, a senior member of the rescue team told Reuters.
Thirteen foreign divers and five members of Thailand’s elite navy SEAL unit are trying to bring the rest of the boys – some as young as 11 and weak swimmers – through narrow, submerged passageways that claimed the life of a former Thai navy diver on Friday.

Rescued boy identified– His name is Mark.
I saw people tweeting about the reason why they took ‘Mark’ out of the cave first.
His name is ‘Mongkol Boonpiam’.
In Thai, Mongkol means ‘auspicious’ and Boonpiam means ‘full of merit’.
So, they took him out first for a good luck charm❤️ #Thaicaverescue #Thamluang pic.twitter.com/coz72MjJjW
