US Business Magnate Elon Musk Builds a Kid Mini-Sub to Rescue Thai Soccer Boys Trapped in Tham Luang Cave

British divers on Monday found the lost boys and their coach trapped in Thailand’s Tham Luang Nang Non cave system. The twelve boys and their coach went missing Saturday June 23rd after a monsoon rain trapped them inside the cave.

The boys and their coach were discovered alive on Monday more than a week after they went missing.

The Thai Navy SEALs released a new video on Tuesday of the boys introducing themselves to the world.

A doctor and nurse reached the boys in the cave on Tuesday.

A retired Thai Navy SEAL assisting in the rescue mission died on Friday morning from lack of oxygen as he was helping with the rescue mission.

Rescuers are concerned with the rising water level in the cave as more monsoon rain fell on Saturday.

Now this…

American business magnate and engineer Elon Musk is building a kid mini-sub to rescue the Thai children.

Elon Musk posted a series of tweets on Saturday.

An engineering team assembled by Musk has already begun to arrive at the area.

Musk says his kiddie submarine will be ready in 8 hours and flown off to Thailand in 17 hour trip!

Gizmodo reported:

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said on Saturday that he is building “a tiny, kid-size submarine” to rescue the 12 Thai boys and their soccer coach infamously trapped within the submerged Tham Luang cave complex. According to the Bangkok Post, a nine-person engineering team assembled by Musk has already begun to arrive in the area…

…Musk tweeted on Saturday that while he had several alternative plans, his team of experts had agreed that the best idea was building a small submarine—really more of an air-filled pod—“using the liquid oxygen transfer tube of [a SpaceX] Falcon rocket as hull.” He added that it would be designed to be manageable with the efforts of two divers.
