Brian Ross announced he is leaving ABC News Monday after his gigantic fake news botched report on General Flynn back in December.
Stocks crashed by 350 points on December 1st following a report by Brian Ross at ABC News that that General Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser, would testify that he was directed to make contact with Russians during the presidential campaign in 2016.
Later in the evening on December 1st, ABC News corrected their explosive special report that aired in the morning saying that Donald Trump, as a candidate for president, had asked Michael Flynn to make contact with Russians.
Rather, Mike Flynn was instructed to make contact with the Russians during the transition period, a huge difference.
The mistake cost investors billions and it was #FakeNews.
Brian Ross apologized for the fake news report and he was subsequently suspended for four weeks by the network without pay.
