Bernie Sanders’ Advisor Named in Tranche of Mueller Evidence Against Manafort Will Not Be Charged by Special Counsel

Last week, Special Counsel Robert Mueller filed 500 new pieces of evidence against Trump’s former campaign chair, Paul Manafort.

Bernie Sanders’ Chief Strategist, Tad Devine’s name appeared 21 times in the trove of new evidence released by Mueller.

Tad Devine previously worked with Paul Manafort in Ukraine, but Mueller has already determined that Devine has done nothing wrong.

In fact, Tad Devine has been tapped by the Special Counsel to assist Mueller in his case against Manafort.

Many speculated Devine was in trouble because heck he worked with Manafort in Ukraine and his other associate, Rick Gates was also hunted down by Mueller.

BuzzFeed reported:

Tad Devine, a political operative who served at the highest levels of the Bernie Sanders campaign, will assist in the special counsel office’s prosecution of Paul Manafort, Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, according to a statement released on Thursday.

“The Special Counsel has asked Tad Devine to assist in the prosecution of their case against Paul Manafort regarding his firm’s work on media consulting on past political campaigns in Ukraine,” reads a statement provided by Julian Mulvey, a partner at Devine’s political firm, Devine Mulvey Longabaugh.

“When the Special Counsel sought assistance from us in its ongoing investigation, we readily provided it.”

The firm, according to the statement, has been “assured by the special counsel’s office that we have no legal exposure and did not act unlawfully.”

Paul Manafort, his former business partner Rick Gates and Tad Devine all worked on behalf of Viktor Yanukovych of Ukraine yet only two of them are being charged by the Special Counsel.

Manafort is currently rotting in solitary confinement and Rick Gates pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with Mueller.

Strange how Mueller has already determined Democrat Tad Devine, also a former senior advisor to Al Gore’s 2000 presidential campaign and John Kerry’s 2004 presidential bid, did not act unlawfully.

In contrast, Mueller has been hunting down President Trump for over a year now looking for a crime in a Stalin-like ‘show me the man and I’ll find the crime’ witch hunt.
