White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family were kicked out of a rural Virginia restaurant Friday night, according to Sanders and a server at the Red Hen located in Lexington.

A Virginia liberal activist posted about the incident with images from the server’s Facebook page, “.@PressSec got kicked out of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Va tonight. Apparently the owner didn’t want to serve her and her party out of moral conviction.”

The server, Jaike Foley-Schultz, wrote on Facebook, “I just served Sarah huckabee sanders for a total of 2 minutes before my owner asked her to leave and she complied. Her family left on their own accord, we didn’t actually refuse service or “kick her out”.”
Sanders tweeted Saturday morning about the incident, “Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so”

The Red Hen is located near Washington and Lee University in Lexington in southwestern Virginia, about a three hour drive from the White House.
Liberals outraged over President Trump’s enforcement of immigration laws at the border have personalized their anger. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was chased out of a D.C. restaurant by protesters this week who also targeted her at her Alexandria, Virginia home. Senior White House adviser Stephen Miller was also harassed at a restaurant last weekend.
Bush 43 Press Secretary Ari Fleischer weighed in in support of Sanders, “I guess we’re heading into an America with Democrat-only restaurants, which will lead to Republican-only restaurants. Do the fools who threw Sarah out, and the people who cheer them on, really want us to be that kind of country?”

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, ripped the Red Hen for refusing to serve his daughter and family, “Bigotry. On the menu at Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington VA. Or you can ask for the “Hate Plate”. And appetizers are “small plates for small minds””
