REPORT: Trump Lawyer Michael Cohen Expects to be Arrested Soon

An attorney for Trump, Michael Cohen has been telling his friends lately he expects to be arrested any day now, according to a report by the New York Daily News.

The New York Daily News reported:

The longtime attorney and personal fixer to President Trump expects to be put in cuffs any day now, possibly opening up his top client to legal complications, a person familiar with the matter said Tuesday.

Cohen has been telling friends he fears his arrest is imminent, the source told the Daily News. Cohen remains under federal investigation for bank fraud and campaign finance violations, potential offenses that resulted in FBI raids at his Manhattan home, hotel room and office in April.

Michael Cohen would not be under a microscope but not for his association with President Trump.

FBI agents raided the office and home of one of Trump’s personal lawyers Michael Cohen in April at the request of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, with Rosenstein’s blessing.

According to the Washington Post, FBI agents took Cohen’s computer, phone and personal financial records as part of the search of his office at Rockefeller Center.

The New York Times first reported the FBI raid collected documents related to Michael Cohen’s payment to porn star Stormy Daniels in October of 2016.

Since the FBI raid, Michael Cohen’s bank records have leaked to the public through Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, creating more legal problems for Cohen.

Others in Cohen’s inner circle have been a target of investigators in an effort to get Cohen to cooperate with Robert Mueller.

A few weeks ago, Evgeny A. Freidman, Michael Cohen’s business partner in a taxi cab venture quietly decided to cooperate with the government as a potential witness to avoid jail time.

Robert Mueller could then use this as leverage to pressure Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen to work with the Special Counsel investigation into ‘Russian interference.’

Since Mueller has nothing on President Trump and his so-called collusion with the Russians, his team of hack lawyers have focused on anyone connected to Trump in an effort to destroy people’s lives.
