Rep Gohmert: Rosenstein is Spying on Me (AUDIO)

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) said in a radio interview with WMAL on Friday, personnel who work for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein are spying on his office.

“I don’t doubt for a minute that he has people who have been looking into my background. I’ve been told as much by some other folks,” Gohmert told WMAL host and Daily Caller editorial director Vince Coglianese.

“I’ve had people who work for the government saying they know everybody that comes in your office,” Rep. Gohmert continued.

Gohmert says he doesn’t believe Rosenstein is personally overseeing the spying, rather it’s his minions doing the dirty work.

Rosenstein previously threatened to subpoena emails, phone records and other documents of Republican lawmakers if they didn’t stop investigating Spygate and FISA abuse.

Rep. Gohmert, who was present at Thursday’s hearing, said Rosenstein was smug and dishonest throughout the Congressional hearing.
