James Woods Warns After Maxine Waters Threats: ‘Get Armed and Vote; Your Life Depends On It’

Actor James Woods warned his fellow conservatives to ‘get armed and vote’ after Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) called for Republicans to be harassed in public and at their homes.

James Woods.

“Now that a United States Congresswoman has called for harassment against Republicans and the inevitable violence that will come of it, I urge all of you to a) get armed, and b) vote. Your life literally depends on it.”

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) posted video of Waters threatening Republicans, “Pot meet Kettle for the party that preaches tolerance like no other. This isn’t the fringe of the Dem Party. This is the Dem Party & the next Chair of the House Fin Svcs Cmte if Dems gain control of House this Nov.”

Waters said, “If you think we’re rallying now, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Already, you have members of your Cabinet that are being booed out of restaurants who have protesters taking up at their house, who say, ‘No peace, no sleep. No peace, no sleep.’ God is on OUR side! On the side of the children. On the side of what’s right. On the side of what’s honorable. And so, let’s stay the course. Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up and if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Woods also posted a comment on the prospects of a civil war, “There’s all this talk of “civil war.” I hope it never happens, but if it does, it’ll be a short one…”

It’s important to note for the Media Matters types reading this that James Woods is not calling for conservatives to attack Democrats. He is simply warning them to be prepared to protect themselves and to vote.
