CNN’s Jim Acosta Holds Interview with “CNN Sucks” Sign and Chants of “Go Home, Jim!” (VIDEO)

CNN’s Jim Acosta traveled to West Columbia, South Carolina for the Trump rally tonight.

During his pre-rally reporting a Trump supporter held a “CNN Sucks!” sign in the background.

And an elderly woman led the chants of “Go home Jim!”

Acosta spoke about the incident afterward on CNN. A clip was posted by Mediaite’s Evan Rosenfeld, who quoted Acosta’s report:

“CNN: @Acosta: “While we have had people come up to us and be nice. I had an elderly woman just a short while’s come up to me—she came up to me & said that we at CNN should get the f*** out of this auditorium… She turned to the crowd & whipped them up into a frenzy.”

President Trump’a appearance at the rally for South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster, who faces a runoff primary election tomorrow for his bid to be elected governor in his own right after succeeding Nikki Haley when Trump appointed her U.N. Ambassador last year, has been delayed due to weather.
