BREAKING: Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to Leave the White House: CBS
Press Secretary Sarah Sanders is planning to leave her position at the White House by the end of 2018.
Principal Deputy Press Secretary, Raj Shah is also planning on departing the White House, however; the exact date of his exit is unknown at this time.
Press secretary Sarah Sanders and principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah are both heading for the exits, according to sources inside the White House and close to the administration. Sanders, who has become a confidante of President Trump since the, has told friends that she plans to leave the administration at the end of the year.
Shah is also considering his exit, but he has not yet settled on an exact date. Neither Sanders nor Shah immediately responded to repeated requests for comment.
CBS also claimed, “there will be more people leaving the White House sooner rather than later…”
Sarah Huckabee Sanders replaced Sean Spicer as Press Secretary last July after briefly serving as the Principal Deputy Press Secretary.
Sanders, like Sean Spicer took a tremendous amount of liberal abuse by the snakes in the press pool.
She did a great job putting the liberal reporters in their place.
Update: Sarah Sanders responded to the CBS report:
Does @CBSNews know something I don’t about my plans and my future? I was at my daughter’s year-end Kindergarten event and they ran a story about my “plans to leave the WH” without even talking to me. I love my job and am honored to work for @POTUS
