Former President Barack Obama released a long statement following the announcement by President Trump that he was leaving the JCPOA agreement with the Iranian regime.
President Obama said in his statement:
“The reality is clear. The JCPOA is working – that is the view shared by our European allies, independent experts and the current US Secretary of State.”
Barack Obama must have missed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech last week offering proof that the Iranian regime is already cheating on the deal.
Prime Minister Netanyahu laid out the proof that Iran was cheating last week.
Obama ignored all of that in his statement today.
Here is the full Obama statement from today.

There are few issues more important to the security of the US than the potential spread of nuclear weapons or the potential for even more destructive war in the Middle East. Today’s decision to put the JCPOA at risk is a serious mistake. My full statement: https://t.co/4oTdXESbxe

Obama statement: "I believe that the decision to put the JCPOA at risk without any Iranian violation of the deal is a serious mistake. Without the JCPOA the United States could eventually be left with a losing choice between a nuclear-armed Iran or another war in the Middle East"
