Roseanne Barr was under attack this weekend for supporting President Trump’s efforts to end human trafficking. CNN and other MSM media outlets claimed Barr’s tweet supporting the President’s efforts relied on a conspiracy theory while dismissing President Trump’s efforts.

Roseanne was right. Our analysis shows that arrests for human trafficking were up 150% in 2017 and are on track to be up nearly 500% in 2018 over 2016 numbers.
Roseanne Barr tweeted on Saturday –
President Trump has freed so many children held in bondage to pimps all over this world. Hundreds each month. He has broken up trafficking rings in high places everywhere. notice that. I disagree on some things, but give him benefit of doubt-4 now.

CNN claimed that Barr was tweeting a conspiracy theory – but was she?
Our analysis shows that Roseanne was right.
A link to an inventory of human trafficking arrests since President Trump was elected was tweeted over the weekend. The inventory was maintained on 8ch.net and includes links to each recorded number of arrests –

The list shows that in 2017 there were 2,975 arrests related to human trafficking in the US. Year-to-date as of March 31st, there were 2,358 arrests in the US. There are more than 5,000 arrests (5,333) since January of 2017.
ICE reports that they made 1,952 arrests in 2016 related to human trafficking.
This means that arrests were up more than 150% in 2017 and at the current pace, the number of arrests in 2018 will be nearly 500% of those in 2016. (Note that these lists are not final but do provide a solid picture of what the President is doing to stop human trafficking in the US.)

Clearly it is no conspiracy theory to state that President Trump is making it a priority to stop the horrible practice of human trafficking. Roseanne was right. The President’s actions in 2018 are on track to be nearly 500% of the number of arrests made in 2016.
