Petition Started For President Trump to Pardon Dinesh D’Souza

An official petition requesting President Trump pardon Dinesh D’Souza was created Saturday, seeking 100,000 signatures.

The petition on White House.Gov website reads:

Dinesh D’Souza is an American patriot whose prosecution was politically motivated, targeted under the Obama admin for “exceeding campaign contributions”. Tried & convicted under the campaign finance law by the sum of $20K, in a case involving no corruption, he was sentenced to 8 months’ overnight confinement, a substantial fine, mandatory psychological counseling and 5 years of probation and community service. No American has ever been prosecuted, let alone sentenced, for a crime of this nature involving no quid pro quo. Without a pardon, Dinesh is unable to exercise his right to vote or to legally purchase a firearm.

Dinesh’s books & films exposed the corruption in Obama admin and showed how USA would have faired under Hillary Clinton’s leadership. For his bravery he should be pardoned.

A Twitter user by the name of Saltwater Patricia tweeted out the petition on Saturday morning.

The caption reads: “We have an official petition to White House requesting that President Trump pardon Dinesh D’ Souza. It’s time! Please sign, RT and make it go viral. We need 100K signatures in 30 days. #PardonDinesh

Dinesh reacted positively to the petition.

Dinesh tweeted: Hey, someone here is standing up for me. To try to undo the selective prosecution of petty vindictive Obama. How cool!

Conservative activist Dinesh D’Souza faced political persecution after he directed and released anti-Obama film, “2016: Obama’s America”. He was indicted over illegal campaign contributions.

It was an obvious witch hunt.

In January, D’Souza said his FBI file, obtained by the House Intel Committee shows the FBI red-flagged him as a “critic of Obama” and subsequently allocated $100,000 to investigate a $20,000 case.

Barack Hussein Obama is the most corrupt president in U.S. history. He weaponized every government agency from the IRS to the DOJ to the FBI.
