FINALLY! After a Year of Delays GOP Leader McConnell Files Cloture on Nomination of Richard Grenell as US Ambassador to Germany

After a year in office half of President Trump’s nominees are still waiting for confirmation in the US Senate.

Mitch McConnell can vote anytime on the nominees. But Mitch won’t do it because he is required to use 30 hours of floor debate to force a vote.

In the private sector if you don’t get your work done during the week you hold overtime.
In the public sector they go to a fancy dinner.

This is outrageous.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders
highlighted Richard Grenell who is the Trump nominee for Ambassador to Germany in March.

Richard has been waiting for months for his confirmation by the US Senate.

President Trump has repeatedly called for the Senate to confirm Richard Grenell as ambassador to Germany.

After a year of waiting it looks like Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced a cloture vote on Richard Grenell as ambassador.

This is great news.
