After a year in office half of President Trump’s nominees are still waiting for confirmation in the US Senate.
Mitch McConnell can vote anytime on the nominees. But Mitch won’t do it because he is required to use 30 hours of floor debate to force a vote.
In the private sector if you don’t get your work done during the week you hold overtime.
In the public sector they go to a fancy dinner.
This is outrageous.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders highlighted Richard Grenell who is the Trump nominee for Ambassador to Germany in March.
Richard has been waiting for months for his confirmation by the US Senate.
President Trump has repeatedly called for the Senate to confirm Richard Grenell as ambassador to Germany.
POTUS has repeatedly called for the senate to confirm @RichardGrenell. What are you waiting for @SenateMajLdr? Call a vote; force @SenSchumer & @TheDemocrats to defend the indefensible. https://t.co/ZOLadrHQ45

After a year of waiting it looks like Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced a cloture vote on Richard Grenell as ambassador.
Cloture vote on Richard Grenell nomination to be US Ambassador to Germany will take place immediately following Pompeo confirmation vote later this week.
