BOOM! GOP Launches Hard-Hitting ‘Lyin’ Comey’ Website Ahead of Former FBI Chief’s Book Release

The RNC launched a hard-hitting website aimed to paint fired FBI Director James Comey as the liar he truly is just days before his memoir “A Higher Loyalty,” is set to hit shelves.

The GOP played off of Trump’s nickname for ‘Lyin’ Ted Cruz during the 2016 primaries and named the website ‘Lyin Comey.’

According to an RNC official, the website www.LyinComey.com will be fact-checking Comey’s new book and highlighting contradictions.

Fox News reported:

“James Comey’s publicity tour is a self-serving attempt to make money and rehabilitate his own image,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said. “Comey is a liar and a leaker, and his misconduct led both Republicans and Democrats to call for his firing. If Comey wants the spotlight back on him, we’ll make sure the American people understand why he has no one but himself to blame for his complete lack of credibility.”

The official told Fox News that the RNC has prepared a rapid response team to respond to claims made in Comey’s book, compiled a research team to fact check, and created a “war room” to monitor his appearances.

Also highlighted on the website are quotes from disgruntled Democrats bashing Comey’s credibility:

“The FBI has no credibility,” the website quotes Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., as saying in January 2017.

“Maybe he’s not in the right job,” House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is quoted as saying in November 2016.

“…badly overstepped his bounds,” Hillary Clinton said in September 2017.

“I do not have confidence in [Comey] any longer,” the site quotes Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., as saying in November 2016.

James Comey was fired nearly one year ago and continued his attacks on President Trump from his Twitter account, often taking shots in cryptic tweets.

Comey is a liar and a leaker. Not only did he deserve to be fired but he should also be prosecuted and put in prison.

Leaker Comey will be sitting down for an interview with sycophant Stephanopoulos Sunday.
