‘America First’ Republican Running in PA Blasted for Secretly Funneling Money to Democrats

Former Pennsylvania state revenue secretary Dan Meuser, who is running for Congress on an “America First” agenda, is being blasted on social media for donating thousands of dollars to Democrats, including including Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, through his company’s political action committee in 2009 and 2010.

According to Federal Election Commission filings obtained by John Cardillo of Rebel Media, Meuser funneled two payments of $5,000 each through his PAC to far-left Democrats.

Dr. Sebastian Gorka, former Deputy Assistant to President Donald Trump, has formally endorsed his opponent, Scott Uehlinger.

In a statement announcing the support, he blasted Meuser not only for his contributions to Democrats, but also for not living in the district that he is running in.

“As a retired U.S. Naval Officer, CIA Station Chief, and Trump Delegate, Scott is an American patriot of the highest order who understands the true meaning of service, and who truly understands how deep the D.C. swamp goes, and what it will take to drain it,” Gorka said. “Unlike his primary opponent, who has for years supported far leftist Democrats like Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Kendrick Meek, Charles Rangel, and others, and who even now in the 2018 midterms is donating to Democrat Matt Cartwright against Republicans, Scott is a true Conservative patriot will remain loyal to his traditional roots.”

Meuser is currently seeking the Republican nomination in the 9th Congressional District, though he is a resident of Kingston Township in the 8th District. He claims that this is because the state Supreme Court has issued a new congressional district map that changed the areas.

The 54-year-old candidate claims that the redistricting effected the areas where he had been campaigning and that he will be petitioning to be allowed to run in the 9th.

Meuser responded to the Gateway Pundit by providing a link to his campaign’s official statement calling Gorka’s statements a “fake news endorsement”

Campaign Spokesman Mike Barley claimed that Meuser has never donated to Wasserman-Schultz or Matt Cartwright. He said that “over 98.5% plus of Meuser’s donations have been to Republican candidates.”
