VIRAL VIDEO: Former Navy SEAL Gives Best Ever Defense of the AR-15

Amid a concerted effort by the mainstream media, Democrats and left-leaning groups to pressure Congress into passing gun control measures, a 2016 video of former Navy SEAL Dom Raso explaining why AR-15s are “the best chance of surviving in an age of terror,” is making the internet rounds.

“The only way for us to stay free was by having whatever guns the bad guys have,” said Raso.

“This firearm gives average people the advantage they so desperately need and deserve to protect their life, liberty, and happiness.”

Gun control legislation doesn’t stop terror attacks, he explained, citing the two terrorists who weren’t deterred by California’s assault weapons ban when they killed 14 people in San Bernardino last year. Nor would any gun ban have stopped the Boston Bombers when they detonated a bomb at the Boston Marathon, killing three and wounding at least 260 others.

Ironically, both of those incidents of terror were brought to a stop by armed police officers responding to the scene with AR-15s–the same weapon legislators are trying to ban.

“Why would you want to ban the gun you pray for police to show up with?” Raso asked.

“I fought this enemy face-to-face for 12 years,” he said. “I know how they think, and I know the hatred that burns inside them.”

“Thank God we have the Second Amendment.”

The video is making the internet rounds as President Trump holds a listening session with Stoneman Douglas students.

17 people are dead after Nikolas Cruz opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last Wednesday.

To add to the heartbreak, Americans are left wondering if the shooting could have been prevented had the tip the FBI received about Cruz been escalated.

In a statement released Friday, the FBI says ‘protocols were not followed,’ to escalate a tip the bureau received about Cruz.
