The awkward moment began when Pelosi, who needed notes to remember a Martin Luther King Jr. quote, began claiming the tax plan will worsen income inequality in the U.S.

“As Martin Luther King said, God never intended for one group of people to live in superfluous inordinate wealth while others live in abject, deadening poverty. So, these are kitchen table issues for most American families.”
“How much are you worth Nancy? How much are you worth!?” then shouted a female heckler.
“You’re worth hundreds of millions of dollars!”
According to Roll Call, Pelosi has a net worth over $29 million.
