Actress Rose McGowan SLAMS Resistance Leader Alyssa Milano, ‘She’s a Lie’

Rose McGowan slammed Alyssa Milano as “a lie” and noted that she is married to an agent from the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), which she claims is “part of the pimp problem” in Hollywood, during an interview about the #MeToo Movement on Wednesday.

The comments about her former “Charmed” co-star came during a sit-down interview with “Nightline” about her new book “Brave” and the allegations that Harvey Weinstein raped her.

When asked by anchor Juju Chang how she feels about the Resistance darlings efforts with #TimesUp and #MeToo, McGowan deadpanned and replied, “I don’t like her.”

“I’m not looking at this from the outside. I have a lot of experience,” McGowan said, when asked why she didn’t like Milano. “I know [Milano is] married to a CAA agent. Do the math. Who’s behind Time’s Up? CAA. Where do they meet? CAA? Who needs good PR? CAA. Who are part of the pimp problem? CAA.”

“These are very powerful people you are talking about,” Chang responded.

“They are. So am I,” McGowan asserted.

Responding to the allegations from McGowan, Milano did not acknowledge her husband’s position.

“I am and always have been completely supportive of Rose and admire her bravery and speaking out about her experiences,” Milano said in a statement. “My goal throughout the past few months with both #MeToo and the TimesUp movement has been to use my platform to give others a voice so we can all work together to stamp out sexual harassment and sexual assault.”

McGowan has also taken aim at Meryl Streep — who has claimed she did not know about Weinstein’s reputation.

“Maybe she didn’t know. Maybe she lives in such a rarefied ether that she did not know,” McGowan said of the actress. “Maybe she lives in such a perfect world that she didn’t have to. But that’s not my world.”
