The video O’Keefe dropped Thursday morning exposing how Twitter silences conservative voices by shadowbanning hit home for me.
Twitter has almost completely shut down my account.
I got more retweets, comments and overall engagement on my tweets when I had only 10,000 followers. I have over 90,000 followers today and hardly anyone sees my tweets.

Twitter has shadowbanned by account. As a writer who promotes my articles on Twitter, it’s very important for me to have a large reach. Twitter is a main artery for writers and journalists.
I used to get 1-2 million impressions a day on my Twitter account when I only had 10,000 followers. In contrast, I rarely get over 200,000 impressions a day now and my account has over 92,000 followers.
My followers routinely tweet at me telling me they no longer see my tweets come down their feeds. They have to come over to my timeline to see any of my content.

About 4 months ago my Twitter account completely stopped growing. I pick up tons of new followers everyday, however; Twitter deletes large blocks of my followers at once everyday. I watch my account jump around all day. Twitter adds and deletes 20-150 people from my account every hour or so. I’ve been on Twitter since 2012 and I’ve never seen my account do this. This is also happening to several friends of mine who happen to be ‘pro-Trump’.
We even experimented with a 3rd party ‘follow-unfollow’ app to see if Twitter was up to their old tricks. Sure enough, the 3rd party app showed hundreds of new followers flooding in while Twitter showed the follower count dropping.
We knew Twitter was censoring us but to see their engineers admit it takes it to another level.
