Media was set ablaze after Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) unilaterally released Fusion GPS’s full testimony from an August 2017 interview Tuesday.
Congressional investigators interviewed Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson about the Russia dossier; Republican leaders pushed back on the release of the transcript.
It turns out the names of Fusion GPS’s FBI contacts were conveniently redacted from the transcript.
Well isn’t that convenient…sneaky Dianne Feinstein!

“Glenn Simpson’s testimony was riddled with false statements, refusals to answer basic questions, nonsensical claims of privilege, and even admissions that Fusion GPS never attempted to verify wild conspiracy allegations if they felt right,” said The Federalist’s Sean Davis.

Among other outrageous claims in Simpson’s testimony is that somebody has already been killed because of the Russia dossier. He used this as an excuse to hide the name of the ‘internal source‘ supposedly in the Trump campaign who was feeding information to FBI agents.
Simpson claimed this ‘source’, which is actually George Papadopoulos, confirmed the allegations in the dossier. Simpson then walked that claim back and admitted that never actually happened.

Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) hit back at Feinstein and sent a letter to House Speaker Paul Ryan Tuesday requesting all documents the House Intel Committee possesses related to the Russia dossier be declassified.
President Trump unleashed on “Sneaky Dianne Feinstein” Wednesday morning.
Trump tweeted, “The fact that Sneaky Dianne Feinstein, who has on numerous occasions stated that collusion between Trump/Russia has not been found, would release testimony in such an underhanded and possibly illegal way, totally without authorization, is a disgrace. Must have tough Primary!”
