Meryl Streep stayed silent after her best friend and sexual predator Harvey Weinstein was hit with multiple allegations of sexual assault spanning over many years.
When asked about her silence against accusations of her bff Weinstein in New York Times interview, Streep blasted First Lady Melania and Ivanka Trump.
Streep hypocritically said, “I don’t want to hear about the silence of me. I want to hear about the silence of Melania Trump. I want to hear from her. She has so much that’s valuable to say. And so does Ivanka. I want her to speak now.”
Not only was Streep silent about Weinstein, in March of 2012, the Hollywood actress praised serial predator Harvey Weinstein as “god” at the Golden Globes.
The audience loved it.
