Matt Drudge BLASTS Author Michael Wolff For “Fabricated Bullsh*t” About Trump

Matt Drudge went scorched earth on author of “Fire and Fury”, Michael Wolff,  Tuesday over what the media icon describes as “fabricated bullshit” about President Trump’s reported desire to no longer be President of the United States.

“Time to call out Michael Wolff and his fabricated bullshit! I had dinner with the president a few weeks ago and he was in fine form. He was optimistic, engaged, on top of the world, loving the job. And already talking about his 2020 re-election run!!” Drudge tweeted.

Drudge’s comments were in response to The Hill’s coverage of Wolff’s interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, where the author claimed Trump doesn’t want to be President.

The Hill reports:

Author Michael Wolff said in a new interview that he believes President Trump does not want to be the president.

“There is nothing to indicate that … Trump is going to find his footing as the president of the United States, that he’s going to be able to put a staff around him … that knows what they’re doing and a staff that he listens to,” Wolff told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

He added that it seems clear Trump will never settle on “attainable goals.”

“In the end, I think that the real truth is he does not want to be the president– the president of the United States,” Wolff said.

President Trump has been highly critical of Wolff, branding the author a “mentally derange,” person with “zero access” to the White House.

“So much Fake News is being reported. They don’t even try to get it right, or correct it when they are wrong. They promote the Fake Book of a mentally deranged author, who knowingly writes false information. The Mainstream Media is crazed that WE won the election!” Trump tweeted on January 13th.

“I authorized Zero access to White House (actually turned him down many times) for author of phony book! I never spoke to him for book. Full of lies, misrepresentations and sources that don’t exist. Look at this guy’s past and watch what happens to him and Sloppy Steve!” Trump tweeted the week before.
