During a sickening press conference on Monday, NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism John Miller stood in front of Mayor Bill de Blasio (considered by many to be one of the worst mayors in America) while he claimed that terrorist acts and activities are merely a “fact of life.”
These comments come in the wake of the failed terrorist attack by Akayed Ullah, who bragged on Facebook shortly before his ISIS bungle “Trump you failed to protect your nation,” before he left home and attempted to blow up New Yorkers in a pre-Christmas Day attack.

The comments by Commissioner John Miller bore a disgusting resemblance to those of London’s ISIS sympathizing Mayor Sadiq Khan who claimed that terrorism is ‘part and parcel’ of living in a major city.
“Clearly due to an immense effort that is put into this by the FBI, the NYPD, our intelligence and counterterrorism people, and everybody else, it’s an all hands effort. We have prevented a significant number of plots, a significant number of attacks, but this is a fact of life whether you’re in New York or London or Paris. The question is can it happen here, and the answer is it can happen anywhere.”
Clearly, anyone who is supposed to be working for our safety who believes that these attacks are simply “a fact of life” should not be trusted in their position to protect us.
