POWER GOES OUT AT WORLD’S BUSIEST AIRPORT…
The cause of the outage is still unknown.
The airport posted a number of tweets Sunday afternoon.
The terminals were evacuated.

UPDATE: Power company still has no idea how fire started.
3/4 – The event impacted not only the underground facilities, but also substations serving the Airport and, while the cause is not yet known, Georgia Power’s system responded by isolating areas where equipment wasn’t operating correctly to ensure safety and minimize damage.

UPDATE: Authorities say a routine training exercise near the world’s busiest airport produced a plume of heavy, dark smoke… And shut down the airport for hours!
