POTUS Trump Fires Off Midnight Celebratory Tweet After Senate Passes GOP Tax Bill – Gloats “Terrible” Obamacare Mandate Repealed

The Senate approved Trump’s tax bill 51-48 in a midnight showdown. McCain was absent from the vote.

This is the biggest tax overhaul in 30 years.

The Obamacare mandate is gone! Amen!

President Trump fired off a celebratory tweet after the Senate passed the GOP tax bill.

“The United States Senate just passed the biggest in history Tax Cut and Reform Bill. Terrible Individual Mandate (ObamaCare)Repealed. Goes to the House tomorrow morning for final vote. If approved, there will be a News Conference at The White House at approximately 1:00 P.M,” Trump tweeted.

Earlier Tuesday, the GOP tax bill passed the House on a 227-203 vote.

Because Democrat hacks complained about two minor provisions in the bill, the House will re-vote on tax bill Wednesday.

Vice President Mike Pence presided over the Senate. McCain was absent due to health complication from radiation therapy.
