On Sunday, Sheriff Clarke joined the chorus of millions of Americans infuriated by the news that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe plans to retire in the next few months with full government benefits. Many would like to see him fired immediately over allegations he helped fix the Clinton email investigation in the failed presidential candidate’s favor.
“This corrupted gov official McCabe should be led out of FBI headquarters doing the perp walk in handcuffs and in front of cameras as a deterrent to other would be corrupt gov officials. Instead they simply “retire”. Only if you are a Democrat. Lois Lerner,” tweeted Clarke.

On Saturday, Clarke spoke out against the outgoing FBI official by tweeting, “McCabe brought shame and discredit to the FBI. Like every other career bureaucrat who should face discipline or criminal prosecution, he’ll fade into obscurity with a lavish tax payer funded pension. Lois Lerner comes to mind. @realDonaldTrump is right.”

McCabe is set to retire early next year after a barrage of attacks for his corruption.
McCabe’s retirement announcement comes on the heels of a major shake up at the FBI; Wray just removed Comey “confidant” and suspected leaker James Baker from his top post as general counsel.
President Trump blasted Andrew McCabe for his overt corruption and accused him of racing the clock to retire with full benefits with only 90 days to go.
