BOOM! Rep Nunes to Subpoena Demoted DOJ Official Connected to Hillary-Funded Garbage Dossier
As previously reported, leading Justice Department official Bruce G. Ohr has been demoted following an investigation into his suspicious contact with opposition research firm Fusion GPS.
Rep. Devin Nunes is now going to slap the demoted DOJ official with a subpoena.
Fox News reported:
Initially senior department officials could not provide the reason for Ohr’s demotion, but Fox News has learned that evidence collected by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), chaired by Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., indicates that Ohr met during the 2016 campaign with Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored the “dossier.” […]
Additionally, House investigators have determined that Ohr met shortly after the election with Glenn Simpson, the founder of Fusion GPS – the opposition research firm that hired Steele to compile the dossier with funds supplied by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
Sara Carter of Circa News reported Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) stated the House Intelligence Committee will issue a subpoena to the demoted DOJ official Bruce Ohr:
On Thursday, Rep. Nunes, a California Republican, said in a statement, “pursuant to the House Intelligence Committee’s prior subpoenas and information requests, the Department of Justice should have provided the committee with information on contacts that DOJ official Bruce Ohr had with Fusion GPS representatives and Christopher Steele.”
“The Committee will issue a subpoena to Bruce Ohr for information on this matter,” Nunes added.
It will take several days to process the subpoena, said a source with knowledge of the subpoena.
One by one every single one of these corrupt swamp creatures will be exposed for their political bias. Hillary’s multi-million dollar garbage dossier may ironically bring down the entire swamp.
