Bernie Sanders’ Wife Still Under FBI Probe Due to Possible Bank Fraud

A federal investigation launched in 2016 – and still underway today – is looking into possible bank fraud by Jane Sanders, Bernie Sanders’ wife.

As Fox News reports, individuals questioned by the FBI confirmed that the investigation was still indeed open, with FBI agents interviewing at least one witness within the last six weeks. Jane Sanders is under investigation following a land deal negotiated when she was president of Burlington College in Vermont in 2010.

With plans to expand the college, Sanders sought to obtain a tract of land from a Roman Catholic parish. She took out a $6.7 million loan from a bank and $3.6 million loan from the parish she made the deal with.

Jane Sanders resigned in 2011 amid allegations that she inflated and made up the amount of money donors pledged to the school and provided inaccurate information when applying to get the $6.7 million bank loan.

Multiple people, who were listed as college donors, have come forward denying the commitments.

The ongoing probe might have the potential for a grand jury review – a snag in any future plans to run on Bernie Sander’s part. Bernie Sanders’ stepdaughter, Carina Driscoll, announced Monday that she was planning to run for mayor of Burlington, Vermont – Bernie Sanders’ first political seat. With Jane Sanders’ FBI probe still ongoing – and at the potential with a grand jury – a potential run by Driscoll would likely be disastrous.

Recently, Bernie Sanders has also been exposed as making horrific comments after attempting to blast the President on Twitter.

Sanders – or his wife – isn’t having the greatest week! Sorry, dopey socialists!
