Rep DeSantis Calls For Declassification of Obama-Comey FISA Applications – ‘Americans Deserve to Know if Dossier Was Used to Unmask Trump’

Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is calling for the declassification of Obama-Comey FISA applications in order to find out if the dossier was used to prompt the surveillance and unmasking of Donald Trump and his associates during the 2016 presidential campaign.

DeSantis said in a statement:

“We now know that the so-called Steele dossier was paid for by the Democratic Party in an effort to gin up negative information regarding then-candidate Trump.  What the American people deserve to know is whether the information compiled by Steele on the Democrats’ dime was used by the Obama administration to obtain approval to conduct surveillance against Trump associates.  The FBI has stonewalled producing these documents for months and their production shouldn’t be limited to closed door viewing by a small number of members of Congress.  The Trump administration should immediately declassify all the documents used to obtain surveillance warrants against Trump or his associates.”

Evidence is mounting that this fraudulent Russia dossier that Hillary’s camp paid for was used to prompt a FISA warrant which ultimately led to the unmasking of Trump and his private associates in order to spy on his presidential campaign.

The Hill reported this in April:

FBI Director James Comey has cited the dossier in some of his briefings with lawmakers in recent weeks as one of the information sources used by his bureau to bolster its probe, U.S. officials briefed on the investigation told CNN… The secret court that oversees the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) granted the FBI a warrant to monitor the communications of Page, a former national security adviser on Trump’s campaign.
