Amidst today’s revelations that Matt Lauer engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior (and it’s most likely not an isolated case), the bombshells just keep coming…
Back in 2012, Lauer’s longtime co-host, Katie Couric, appeared on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” and during one of the shows segments – “Plead The Fifth” – Andy asked Katie what Matt’s most annoying habit was… Without missing a beat, Couric responds “he pinches me on the ass a lot”.

Couric’s answer drew no attention from media outlets at the time. No outrage or ire was directed at Lauer for his womanizing ways. If it had been anyone but a left-leaning liberal like Lauer being accused as a creep, the mainstream media and vapid echo chamber of leftists would have annihilated and tore them apart mercilessly.
Today, after the news broke about Lauer’s inappropriate behavior, NBC News Chairman, Andrew Lack claimed:
This was the first complaint lodged against Lauer, 59, for his behavior since he took over as anchor of the show in 1997, but there was “reason to believe” it may not have been an isolated incident.
Already, we have evidence of more inappropriate behavior from Lauer! If he was violating and sexually harassing his own co-host, you have to ask yourself exactly where the length of his behavior ends…
One thing is for certain, Lauer was given a free pass in 2012 even though he allegedly acted inappropriately toward Couric. However, when the accused sits among the “pantheons” of the failing, legacy mainstream media – what do you expect? Being one of their own, the media protected and insulated Lauer from consequence.Â
Thankfully, not even the media could save Lauer from his most recent accusations – considering all of the stories breaking almost daily about celebrities, politicians, and news anchors sexually abusing anyone they see fit, Lauer’s reputation is irrevocably damaged.
