President Trump held a press conference from Trump Tower New York to address his new infrastructure plan. Trump sparred with reporters who brought up the violence in Charlottesville over the weekend and the ongoing debate about Confederate statues being removed.
“George Washington was a slave owner. Was George Washington a slave owner? So will George Washington now lose his status? Are we gonna take down–are we gonna take down our statues of George Washington,” Trump asked a reporter.
“How about Thomas Jefferson? What do you think of Thomas Jefferson? You like him? Ok good. Are we gonna take down his statue because he was a major slave owner. Now, are we gonna take down his statue?”
“You’re changing history, you’re changing culture…” Trump continued.
Trump is correct. This isn’t about Confederate statues. When will the demands of the fascist liberal left end? Just like ISIS, they want to destroy historical statues they deem ‘offensive’. When will it stop? They won’t stop until all of our memorials are destroyed and they are ultimately gunning for the Constitution.
The left must be stopped. They are a violent political faction seeking to destroy the United States one statue, one state at a time.
