Protesters gathered around Trump Tower, New York Monday awaiting President Trump’s first visit to The City since his inauguration.

Protesters have descended on Trump Tower ahead of the president’s arrival there Monday for a planned two-night stay, and at least three rallies are expected outside the Fifth Avenue building amid heightened tensions following weekend violence in Virginia — and Donald Trump’s response to it.
People with signs started lining up and chanting outside the tower as rush hour got underway, shouting things like, “No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA” and “Not my president.” They held signs reading, “The Trump/Pence regime must go” and “Silence is violence.”
