POTUS WARNS MUELLER: Investigating My Family’s Finances Crosses RED LINE

In an interview with The New York Times, President Trump expressed his disdain for Robert Mueller, the special counsel leading the ‘Russian meddling’ investigation.

President Trump pointed out that Mueller is running an office riddled with conflicts of interest and warned that he would be crossing a red line if they dared delve into his family’s finances.

The New York Times reports:

In a remarkable public break with one of his earliest political supporters, Mr. Trump complained that Mr. Sessions’s decision ultimately led to the appointment of a special counsel that should not have happened. “Sessions should have never recused himself and if he was going to recuse himself he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else,” Mr. Trump said.
In a wide-ranging interview with The New York Times, the president also accused James B. Comey, the F.B.I. director he fired in May, of trying to leverage a dossier of compromising material to keep his job. Mr. Trump criticized both the acting F.B.I. director who has been filling in since Mr. Comey’s dismissal and the deputy attorney general who recommended it. And he took on Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel now leading the investigation into Russian meddling in last year’s election.
Mr. Trump said Mr. Mueller was running an office rife with conflicts of interest and warned that investigators would cross a red line if they delve into Trump family finances unrelated to Russia. Mr. Trump never said he would order the Justice Department to fire Mr. Mueller, nor would he outline circumstances under which he might do so. But he left open the possibility as he expressed deep grievance over an investigation that has taken a political toll in the six months since he took office.
As TGP previously reported, Robert Mueller is stacking his Special Counsel team with Democrat donors and Obama lawyers.Mueller announced Jeannie Rhee would be an attorney on his team, a Clinton Foundation lawyer and former Deputy Assistant Attorney General under Obama.

President of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton recently called Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation ‘out of control’ and argued that it should be shut down

Fitton: “…You know my count is 14, 15 lawyers to have working on this one investigation to investigate to investigate what? An employment dispute between Comey and the President?

I don’t understand what this investigation is about. You have the conflicts caused by Comey leaking records to get Mueller appointed, you have Constitutional concerns about the way the office operates.”

Fitton pointed out that the counsel is being stacked with Democrat donors, as TGP previously reported.

Fitton asked, “Are there any Trump donors on the team?”

There is no day to day supervision of these appointments; there is no Constitutional officer supervising. Who is watching the watchers?

Legal News site, LawNewz wrote a piece Friday morning predicting special counsel Mueller will not make it another 100 days.

Reasons cited for Mueller’s firing:

– Mueller’s friendship with Comey (the ultimate in disingenuous circular reasoning)

– Some other yet to be discovered and invented bias on the part of Mueller and his team

– The cost of the investigation

– The need to focus on “more important” issues

LawNewz concluded the piece by saying, “The clock starts now!”
