Imran Awan’s attorney released a statement Wednesday after his arrest on Monday….
The attorney blames Islamophobia, the ultra-right-wing and pizzagate for his client’s arrest.
The attorney goes on to say Imran and his wife were traveling to Pakistan because he was just fired.

They were both carrying $12,000 when they left the US.
Imran was arrested before he could board his plane.
Awan’s attorney released a statement Wednesday:

“The attacks on Mr. Awan and his family began as part of a frenzy of anti-Muslim bigotry in the literal heart of our democracy, the House of Representatives. For months, we have had utterly unsupported, outlandish, and slanderous statements targeting Mr. Awan coming not just from the ultra-right-wing “pizzagate” media but from sitting members of Congress.”
Awan’s attorney also blamed ‘extremist right-wing bloggers’ for harassing Awan’s children.

To no one’s surprise, Awan and his lawyers are now playing victim after he was caught in a cyber-security breach and smashed the hard drives.
