WOW! #FireDepp Twitter Hashtag Goes VIRAL Following Johnny Depp’s ‘Trump Assassination’ Joke

Despite apologizing for suggesting he would assassinate President Trump, leaders in the MAGA movement are calling for the washed up actor to be fired from the Harry Potter spin-off movie.

As TGP previously reported, actor Johnny Depp called for the assassination of President Donald Trump at a Q & A at the Glastonbury Festival in England on Thursday, reported the Guardian. The audience cheered the mention of Trump’s assassination, according to a concurrent report by the Telegraph:

“When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?” he asked in reference to the death of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth in 1865.

“I want to qualify, I am not an actor. I lie for a living. However, it has been a while and maybe it is time,” he added.

Independent journalist Jack Posobiec kicked things off with a Periscope calling for the #FireDepp hashtag to go viral.

After Posobiec called on his 150,000 Twitter followers to tweet out the #FireDepp hashtag, the tweets began to flow.
